Norman Finkelstein

Israel, Palestine, and the Future of the Middle East

Not many people inspire you the way Dr. Norman Finkelstein does – from his slow, precise articulation to his unshakable passion for human rights.  The son of holocaust survivors who’s been accused of holocaust denial, an outstanding professor who was denied tenure and an accused self-hating Jew whose love encompasses all of humanity – including Palestinians and Jews.

Like many of us who struggle to find a balance between our dichotomies, Dr. Finkelstein is lucky to find his way, and we’re lucky that his way will lead him to Kansas City on April 27, 2011.

The Muslim Student Association – UMKC, Citizens for Justice in the Middle East, Disciples Peace Fellowship of Kansas City, MAS KC and Culturally Speaking are honored to host Dr. Finkelstein’s free lecture and Q & A at:

UMKC Royall Hall, Room 111

800 E. 52nd Street,

Kansas City, MO

Wednesday, April 27, 2011

6:30PM – Doors open at 6:00 PM
